Protect your account

  • Set an Account PIN. It stops anyone with a code texted to your number from taking over your account.
  • Never share a code. Zaplog will never call, text or email you for a sign-in code or your PIN. Anyone asking is trying to take over your account.
  • Add a verified email address so you can recover your account.
  • Check Linked devices now and then, and log out any you don't recognize.
  • Turn on App lock if other people use your phone.

Control who can reach you

Share carefully

  • Chats and calls are end-to-end encrypted, but people can still screenshot or forward what you send. Use view once or disappearing messages for sensitive things.
  • Content in public ZapRooms can be seen by anyone. Don't post personal details there.
  • Only share your QR code with people you want to hear from.
  • Share your live location only with people you trust, and stop it when you're done.

If you're in danger

Zaplog isn't an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number first, then report it to us.
