Linked devices
See which computers and browsers are linked to your account, and log them out.
Open Settings > Linked devices on your phone.
- This phone — the phone your account lives on.
- Web and desktop — every browser or computer linked to your account, with when it was last active.
Log a device out
Tap the device, then Log out. It's signed out straight away and loses the keys to your messages, so nothing sent afterwards can be read on it.
Log out everywhere else
Tap Log out from all devices. This ends every web and desktop session; your phone stays signed in.
One phone at a time
Your account is on one phone at a time. Signing in on a new phone signs the old one out and logs out every linked device. See Sign in on a new phone.
Inactive devices
A computer or browser that hasn't been opened for 30 days is signed out automatically. See Signed out after 30 days.
