Appeal a removal or restriction in ZapRooms
Ask a room's moderators to restore content they removed, or contact Zaplog Trust & Safety about your account.
Appeal a removed post or comment
When moderators remove your content, you still see it with their reason, labeled Removed by room moderation.
- Open the removed item.
- Tap Appeal this removal.
- Explain what happened in your own words, and send it.
Zaplog shows Appeal sent to the moderators. If they agree, you'll see Appeal granted — the content is back. If not, the content stays removed and you'll get a short note.
Restrictions in a room
Appeals about a ban or mute go to the room that issued it. ZapRooms doesn't overturn a room's own moderation.
Contact Trust & Safety
For decisions about your whole account, or if you believe a room's moderators are abusing their power, open Settings > Help > Trust & Safety and start a message. See Appeal a decision.
