Edit your profile

Your profile is what people see when they open a chat with you or tap your name. You can change most of it at any time.

Open your profile

1. On the Chats screen, tap the gear to open Settings.
2. Tap your name and photo at the top.

Your profile page shows your cover photo, profile photo, name, username, bio and your level. Below that are shortcuts to settings that belong to you: Searchable Username, Social Podcast, Pro Badge, Starred Messages, Locked Chats, App Lock, Ghost Mode, Privacy Screen, Auto-download media, Favorite Accounts, Story Archive, Blocked Accounts and Linked Devices.

Change your profile photo or cover photo

1. On your profile page, tap your profile photo, or the cover image behind it.
2. Choose Camera to take a new picture, or Gallery to pick one.
3. Adjust the crop and confirm.

You can also remove a photo from the same menu. Who can see your photos is set in Settings > Privacy. See Privacy settings.

Change your name, username or bio

1. On your profile page, tap Edit Profile.
2. Under Public profile, change your First name, Last name or Username.
3. Under About you, write a Bio. It's shown on your profile.
4. Tap Save changes.

If you leave without saving, Zaplog asks Discard changes? so you don't lose your edits by accident.

Frequently asked questions

Who can see my bio?

Your bio (shown as About in privacy settings) is visible to the audience you choose under Settings > Privacy > About.

Can I hide my Pro badge?

Yes. Turn off Pro Badge on your profile page. See Your Pro badge.
