Every Zaplog account has a level. It's earned from the time you spend with Zaplog open on your screen, across all of Zaplog, and it travels with your account rather than with any one room.

See your level

  1. Tap the gear on the Chats screen to open Settings.
  2. Tap your profile at the top.
  3. Your rank and a progress bar toward the NEXT GOAL appear on your profile. Tap them to open Rank Progression, which lists every rank and which ones you've unlocked.

The ranks

Each rank needs a total number of hours with Zaplog open. Time is counted only while the app is on screen.

RankNameTotal hours
1Rookie0
2Dabbler50
3Senior150
4Maven350
5Professional650
6Headliner1,050

8Phenomenon2,150
9Maestro2,850
10Premier3,650

When you reach Absolute, your profile shows MAX LEVEL REACHED.

Show or hide your level badge

Your level can appear as a badge beside your name in ZapRooms. To choose who sees it:

  1. Open the Rooms tab and go to your ZapRooms profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Find the card Earned from time spent on Zaplog and turn Show Zaplog account level badge on your profile on or off.

When it's off, only you can see your level.

Frequently asked questions

Does my level unlock anything?

Your level is a mark of how long you've been around. It doesn't change your limits or unlock features. Boost points in ZapRooms are separate and come from votes in each room. See Boost points, awards and badges.

Does time in the background count?

No. Only time with Zaplog open on your screen counts toward your level.
