Your ZapRooms profile

Your ZapRooms profile is how every room sees you. It's separate from your Zaplog chat profile.

Edit your profile

1. Open Profile in the rooms drawer.
2. Tap Edit profile (How you appear across ZapRooms).
3. Change your Display name, Pronouns, Bio, Profile picture or Cover photo.
4. Tap Save.

Display names are at least 3 characters: letters, numbers and underscores. ZapRooms checks that a name is free as you type.

Set a status

Tap Add status to show what you're up to, such as 💬 Free to chat, 💻 In the zone, 🎧 Listening to music, 🍔 Getting food, 🏃 Working out, 🌴 On vacation or 📵 Away from my phone, or write your own. Choose Clear after to remove it automatically.

What's on your profile

Your profile shows your posts and comments, your boost points, any badges you've chosen to show, and your profile posts.

Followers

People can follow you to see your profile posts in their feed. Choose who can follow you in ZapRooms settings under Content & Social > Who can follow you: Everyone, Friends of Friends or Room Members. Turn all three off and nobody new can follow you; existing followers stay until they unfollow or you block them.

Email and phone

Email and phone are managed for your whole Zaplog account, in Settings > Account.
