Create your Zaplog account
Sign up with your mobile number, verify it with a 6-digit code, and set up your profile.

Your Zaplog account is tied to your mobile phone number. There's no password: each time you sign in on a phone, Zaplog sends a 6-digit code to confirm the number is yours.
Before you start
- Use a mobile number with a SIM card or eSIM. Zaplog doesn't send codes to landlines, toll-free numbers, or internet and virtual (VoIP) numbers. See Why some numbers can't get a code.
- Make sure the phone can receive text messages (SMS). Codes are sent only by SMS.
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Open Zaplog. On the welcome screen you can tap Language to change the app's language first.
- Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, then tap Agree and continue.
- On Choose your look, pick Light, Dark or System (match your phone). You can change this later in Settings > Chats > Theme.
- On Enter your phone number, check the country. Tap it to pick a different country or region.
- Type your number and tap Next.
- Check the number Zaplog shows you. Tap Yes if it's right, or Edit to fix it.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the text message. On many phones Zaplog fills it in for you. See Fill in the code automatically.
- Set up your profile: a name, a username, your gender and your birthday. A profile photo is optional. See Set up your profile.
When you're done, Zaplog opens your chat list.
If you already have an account
If the number already has a Zaplog account, you sign in to it instead of creating a new one. Your chats, contacts and settings come back. If the account is signed in on another phone, Zaplog asks for a code shown on that phone. See Sign in on a new phone.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an email address?
No. An email address is optional. Adding and verifying one helps you recover your account and get important security notices. See Add or change your email address.
How many codes can I request?
A number can get 2 verification codes by SMS in 24 hours (3 for US numbers). After that, new codes are paused for 24 hours. A code that has already arrived still works until it expires. See Too many codes requested.
Can I sign up on the web?
No. You create your account in the Android or iPhone app, then link the web app at https://app.zaplog.ai to your phone.
