You can type the 6-digit code yourself, but Zaplog can usually fill it in for you.

On Android

While the code screen is open, Zaplog shows Waiting to automatically detect 6-digit code sent by SMS to your number. When the text arrives, Android asks whether Zaplog may read that one message. Tap Allow and the code fills in. Zaplog gets that single message and nothing else.

On iPhone

When the text arrives, the keyboard shows the code above the keys. Tap it to fill it in. This is handled by iOS, and Zaplog gets no access to your messages.

Copy and paste

If you copy the code from the text message or its notification, Zaplog picks it up when you come back to the app (on Android, as soon as you copy it with Zaplog open). It reads only a 6-digit code copied after it sent one. On iPhone, iOS asks you first whether Zaplog may paste.

Frequently asked questions

The code didn't fill in. What now?

Type it in by hand. If no text arrived at all, see Verification code not arriving.

Does Zaplog read my other text messages?

No. Zaplog doesn't have permission to read your text messages. On Android it receives only the single message you approve.
