Too many codes requested (24-hour limit)
Why a number can get only a few codes a day, and what to do while new codes are paused.
On this page
For your security, each phone number can receive a limited number of verification codes by SMS in 24 hours:
| Number | Codes in 24 hours |
|---|---|
| US numbers | 3 |
| All other numbers | 2 |
When a number has used them all, Zaplog shows Locked for 24 hours and You've used all 2 codes (or 3 for a US number), with a countdown until new codes are available (New codes from a time on your clock).
What you can do
- Use a code you already received. A code that has arrived still works until it expires. Enter it on the code screen.
- Wait for the countdown. When it reaches zero, Zaplog shows You can request a new code now.
- Use a different number if you're creating a new account and have another mobile number.
Avoid hitting the limit
- Wait for the text before asking for another code. Messages can take a minute to arrive.
- Check that the number and country are right before you tap Next.
- Make sure your phone has signal and can receive SMS.
