A contact's profile and chat settings
Everything you can do from someone's profile, from media and muting to stealth mode and blocking.
Open a chat and tap the person's name at the top to see their profile. You can also long-press the chat in your list and tap View Profile.
What's on a profile
- Their cover photo, profile photo, name and About, if they share them with you. Otherwise Zaplog shows This information is private.
- Whether they're online, or when they were last seen.
- Buttons to message, call and video call them.
- View Story if they have a story, and View Profile Photo.
Settings for this chat

| Mute notifications | Silence this chat. See Mute a chat. |
| Media visibility | Whether photos and videos you download from this chat appear in your phone's gallery: follow your setting, or always show or hide them. |
| Disappearing messages | A timer for new messages. See Disappearing messages. |
| Chat lock | Hide this chat behind biometrics. See Lock a chat. |
| Advanced privacy | Read receipts and stealth mode for this person only (below). |
| Favorite Contact | Add them to your favorites. |
| Clear Conversation | Remove the messages from your phone. |
| Block and Report | See Block someone and Report someone. |
Advanced privacy for one person
Open Advanced privacy on their profile:
- Read Receipts: turn off to stop this person being told when you read their messages. If read receipts are off for everyone in Settings > Privacy, this switch can't turn them back on.
- Stealth Mode: turn on to hide your active status from this person. They can't see you online, when you were last seen, or when you're typing.
