You can write a message now and send it later, for example a birthday message at midnight.

Schedule a message

  1. Type your message.
  2. Hold the Send button. A menu opens.
  3. Slide to Send later and let go, or tap it.
  4. Pick a time: In an hour, Tonight at 8 PM, Tomorrow at 9 AM, Tomorrow at 8 PM, or choose Pick a date and time.
  5. Tap Schedule.

The time must be at least a minute from now and within thirty days.

See and change scheduled messages

While anything is waiting, a strip above the composer shows how many messages are scheduled and when the next one goes. Tap it to open Scheduled messages, where you can:

  • Send now to send a message straight away.
  • Delete to cancel it.

Good to know

  • Only text can be scheduled. Photos, videos and files can't.
  • A scheduled message waits on your phone and is encrypted and sent at the chosen time. It isn't held on Zaplog's servers.
  • Your phone needs to be on, and to have a connection, when the time comes. If it's off or offline, the message is sent as soon as it can be.
  • If the chat has disappearing messages on, the scheduled message follows the chat's timer.
