Filter and search your chat list
Use the All, Unread, Zappy, Favorites, Groups and Requests chips, and search chats and messages.

Filters
Under the search bar on the Chats screen, tap a chip to narrow your list:
| Chip | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every conversation. |
| Unread | Chats with messages you haven't read. |
| Zappy | Your conversation with Zappy, so it's always easy to find. |
| Favorites | Chats with people you've marked as favorites. See Favorite contacts. |
| Groups | Group chats only. |
| Requests | People who found you by username and are waiting for your reply. Only appears when someone is waiting. |
Search
- Tap the search icon at the top of the Chats screen.
- Type a name, a group name, or words from the latest message.
The list narrows to the chats that match. Tap one to open it.
Locked chats
Chats you've locked don't appear in the list or in search. See Lock a chat.
