Allergies and avoided foods
How ZapFit warns you about allergens, and how avoided foods affect search.
Set these in Profile > Plan & preferences.
Allergies & intolerances
Choose from ZapFit's list of allergens and intolerances, so ZapFit can match them against ingredient data. When a food you're logging lists a matching ingredient, ZapFit shows Possible allergen or Allergen. If a scanned meal is identified as something you're allergic to, it tells you during review.
If a food has no ingredient list, ZapFit says it couldn't check it.
Avoided foods
Avoided foods are preferences, not warnings, across diet, ethics and taste. They push matching foods down your search results. They never block a log: if you eat one, ZapFit records it without comment.
Dietary pattern
Your Dietary pattern (for example vegetarian, vegan or keto) and macro preference shape your targets. Change them in Personal plan.
