Where numbers come from

  • Nutrition provider data is shown with its source.
  • Zaplog AI is used mainly to identify foods and estimate portions in photos and descriptions. Values from the AI alone are labeled estimates.
  • Barcode and label results need your confirmation before they're logged.
  • Your corrections are recorded as corrections.
  • Weight trends use smoothing. Goal trajectories use your observed rate and may change.

What ZapFit never does

  • It never diagnoses, treats or replaces advice from a qualified clinician. ZapFit isn't a medical device.
  • It never forces a fasting recommendation.
  • It never invents step data or custom-food values.
  • It never sets extreme targets without capping them and showing a safety warning.
  • BMI is shown for context only; it's never a ZapFit target.
