Notifications for one chat, group or room
Mute or unmute one conversation, group or room, and how mentions still reach you.
On this page
A chat or group
Mute it for 8 hours, 1 week or Always from the chat list (long-press, Mute Notifications) or its profile (Mute notifications). Mentions of you and @everyone still reach you. See Mute a chat.
A room in ZapRooms
Choose All messages, Only @mentions or Nothing for each room, mute a room for a while, or mute single channels. See ZapRooms notifications.
Locked chats
Notifications still arrive for locked chats. Turn off Show message previews in Settings > Notifications if you don't want message text shown.
