Hide message text in notifications
Show only who messaged you, not what they said, in notifications and on the lock screen.
- Open Settings > Notifications.
- Turn off Show message previews.
Notifications then show the sender, but not what they said.
Messages sent with Invisible Ink never show their words in notifications, whatever this setting.
On iPhone, message previews are decrypted on your phone by Zaplog's notification extension. With previews off, nothing is decrypted for the notification.
