Create a room

Owning a room means moderating it, so you must be 18 or older to create one. ZapRooms checks the birthday on your Zaplog profile; if it can't confirm your age, you can't create a room.

Create your room

1. Open the rooms drawer and tap Add Room, then Create Room.
2. Tap the cover or the icon to add photos (Add a room icon).
3. Type a ROOM NAME: one word, letters, numbers and underscores. Rooms are shown as z/name, and the name must be free.
4. Write About: what happens in this room.
5. Choose the MINIMUM AGE:
   • 13 — anyone can join. This is Zaplog's own minimum age.
   • 18 — only people whose profile birthday makes them 18 or older can join. The room is hidden from younger people in search, and its profile is blurred behind an age wall.
6. Choose the privacy: Public (anyone can find and join it) or Private (invite only, for members 18 and over).
7. Tap Create Room.
