Add or remove group members

Add members

1. Open the group and tap its name.
2. Tap Add in the row of buttons under the group name.
3. Tap the people you want to add, then confirm.

Zaplog shows how many people were added. People already in the group show In group.

If Add other members is limited to admins, only admins can do this, and members see Only admins can add members to this group. Some people may not allow you to add them; see Who can add you to groups.

Remove a member

Only admins can remove people.

1. Open the group profile.
2. Tap the member in the participant list.
3. Tap Remove, then confirm Remove from Group?

The person sees You were removed by an admin, and everyone else sees that they were removed. They can no longer send or read new messages in the group.
