Boost points, awards, badges and flair

How boost points work, giving awards, the level and Pro badges, and wearing user flair in a room.

Boost points

Boost points come from upvotes on your posts and comments. They're counted per room. Some rooms require a minimum number of boost points earned there before you can post; commenting still works, so join a conversation to earn them.

Your profile shows your total. Choose in Edit profile whether visitors see the rooms you earned it in, or only your total.

Awards

Open a post's options and tap Award to give its author an award. Awards are public and free.

Badges

BadgeWhere it comes from
Zaplog levelYour account level, earned from time spent on Zaplog. Show or hide it in Edit profile.
PROA gold badge for Zaplog Pro members. Turn Show your Pro badge in ZapRooms on or off in Edit profile.
BOTMarks messages from a room's moderation bots.
OP / AMA HOSTMarks the author of a post, or the host of an AMA, in its comments.

User flair

User flair is a tag beside your name in one room, such as Regular, Verified or Team. Rooms create their own.

  • If the room lets members choose, use Your flair (Wear a tag beside your name in this room) in the room to pick one, and Remove my flair to take it off.
  • Some flair can only be given by a moderator (Assigned by a moderator).

Flair shows beside your name on everything you post in that room.
