On this page

A banner at the top of Zaplog shows when the connection is in trouble:

  • No internet connection — your phone is offline.
  • Reconnecting… — Zaplog is getting back in touch with its servers.
  • Connected — you're back.

Fix it

  1. Turn Wi-Fi off and on, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
  2. Check that other apps can load pages. If not, the problem is your network.
  3. On a public Wi-Fi network, open a browser and complete any sign-in page.
  4. Turn off any VPN, data saver or private DNS setting that might be blocking Zaplog, then try again.
  5. Restart your phone.

Messages you send while offline wait with a clock icon and go out as soon as you're connected.

If Zaplog's servers are having trouble

If Zaplog says Can't reach Zaplog's servers right now or Zaplog's servers are having trouble, the problem is on our side. Wait a few minutes and try again.
