Your ZapRooms feeds
How the Popular and Your Rooms feeds work, how to sort posts, and how to change the layout.

Open Home in the rooms drawer. It has two feeds:
- Popular — trending posts from public rooms.
- Your Rooms — posts from the rooms you've joined. Posts from people you follow on ZapRooms appear here too.
Sort posts
Tap Sort to choose how posts are ordered:
| Sort | Shows first |
|---|---|
| Hot | Well-voted and recent posts. |
| New | The newest posts. |
| Top | The most upvoted posts, for a time range you pick. |
| Rising | Young posts picking up votes. |
| Controversial | Posts with split votes. |
You can set your default sort in ZapRooms settings under Feed & Content.
Change the layout
Inside a room's Posts feed, tap View to choose:
- Cards — large previews with media.
- Compact — a dense list with small thumbnails.
- Gallery — two across, pictures first.
The Home feeds always use cards.
Hide posts
To stop seeing a post, open its options and tap Hide post. Show fewer posts like this shows less from that room. See Post options.
