Vote

Tap Upvote or Downvote on a post or comment. Tap the same arrow again to take your vote back. Upvotes on your posts and comments earn you boost points in that room.

Comment

Open a post.
Tap Add a comment.
Write your comment. Depending on the room, you can Add an image, Add a GIF or Paste a link.
Post it.

To answer a comment, tap Reply under it. Replies are nested under the comment they answer. Tap Collapse thread to fold a long thread away, and Expand thread to open it again.

The post's author is marked OP in the comments.

Sort comments

Tap Sort comments by and choose, for example, Hot, New, Top, Controversial, Old or Q&A. Use Next comment to jump between top-level comments.

Mark the answer

On a question, the post's author or a room moderator can open a comment's menu and tap Mark as the answer. The comment is labeled ANSWER, and the post shows Solved.

Summary of the discussion

On a busy post, tap Summarise to get Summary of the discussion: a few lines from Zappy on what people are saying. It's written from the comments and can get things wrong.

Edit, delete or translate

Open a comment's More menu to Edit or Delete your own comment, Translate someone else's, or Report it. Edited comments are marked edited, and moderators can see earlier versions.

When you can't comment

If a post shows Comments are closed or limited to staff, its author or the room's moderators have turned comments off, or limited them to moderators.
