You can ask Zappy something without leaving a conversation.

  1. In any chat, start your message with @zappy, followed by your question. For example: @zappy what time did we agree on?
  2. Send it.

What happens

  • Your question isn't sent to the chat. Nobody else sees it.
  • Zappy reads the recent messages it needs from that chat, and answers you privately in the conversation. Only you see the answer.
  • To share the answer with the chat, tap Send on it.

@zappy only works at the very start of a message. A mention later in a sentence is sent as normal text.

You can also long-press any message and tap Ask Zappy to ask about it.

Privacy

Your question, and the recent messages Zappy needs from the chat, including other people's messages decrypted on your phone, are sent to Zaplog's AI to answer you. Zappy leaves out your private profile details when it answers here.

To stop Zappy reading your chats at all, turn off Zappy in Chats. See Zappy across Zaplog.
