On this page
  1. Open Cloud.
  2. Tap the + button (Add to ZapCloud).
  3. Choose:
    • Upload files — any file from your phone.
    • Upload photos (Choose from gallery) — photos and videos.
    • Upload folder — a whole folder at once.
    • Take photo or Record video — straight into ZapCloud.
    • Scan document (or Scan files) — see Scan documents.

Files go into the folder you're in (Straight into that folder), or the top of ZapCloud.

Watch progress

While files upload, a progress bar shows Uploading with how many are done. You can keep using your phone; uploads carry on in the background. Your Upload History (in Quick actions > Uploads) lists everything you've added recently.

If a file with the same name exists

ZapCloud asks what to do: Keep both, Replace or Skip (or the same for all). Replacing keeps the old copy in the file's version history.

Size limits

A single upload can be up to 2 GB. Uploads also need space in your account storage. When your storage is full, new uploads fail until you free up space.

Mobile data

By default, ZapCloud can use mobile data. To make uploads and downloads wait for Wi-Fi, turn off Use cellular data in ZapCloud's settings.
