Manage files and folders

Create folders, move, copy, rename, star, tag and color items, and change how ZapCloud lists them.

Create a folder

  1. Open Files and go to where you want the folder.
  2. Tap +, then Create folder.
  3. Type a Folder name and tap Create.

Item options

Tap More options (⋮) on a file or folder, or long-press it:

OptionWhat it does
ShareShare with people or by link. See Share with people.
RenameChange the name. Names must be unique within a folder.
Move to…Move it to another folder, or Move to a new folder….
Make a copyCopy it to another folder.
Add tags / Edit tagsLabel it, for example receipts or tax.
Change colourGive a folder a color that shows wherever it's listed.
StarAdd it to Starred on Home.
Make available offlineKeep a copy on your phone. See Offline files.
Version historyEarlier copies kept when the file was replaced.
DetailsSize, type, dates and the text search found in it (Searchable text).
Download / Open with…Save it to your phone or open it in another app.
DeleteMove it to the trash. See Trash.

Select several items

Long-press an item, then tap others to select them. Use Select all, then move, copy, delete or download them together.

Sort and view

Tap Sort by to order by name, date or size, and View as to switch between a grid and a list. Keep folders on top (in ZapCloud's settings) groups folders above files, whichever sort is active.
