Use Zappy with GitHub
Connect GitHub so Zappy can follow pull requests, issues, CI runs and notifications, and act when you confirm.
On this page
Connect GitHub
- Open Settings > Zappy > Connectors and tap Connect on GitHub.
- Tap Copy code and open GitHub, then enter the code on GitHub to let Zappy in. It covers your private repositories too.
- Zaplog shows Waiting for you to approve it on GitHub… until you approve it.
Prefer a token? Tap Use a token instead and paste a classic personal access token with the repo, notifications and read:org scopes. Fine-grained tokens work for repositories, but GitHub won't let them read notifications.
What Zappy can do
Read repositories, issues, pull requests, workflow runs and releases, and watch them for changes. With your confirmation, it can comment, open issues, star repositories or merge pull requests.
"Tell me when my PR's checks finish" sets up a watch. See Automations.
Disconnect
Tap Disconnect. Zappy's token is deleted from your phone. To revoke its access on GitHub as well, remove it under Settings > Applications on GitHub.
