Screen guard

Screen guard (also called Privacy Screen on your profile) blocks screenshots and screen recording inside Zaplog on your phone.

Turn it on

1. Open Settings > Privacy.
2. Under Security, turn on Screen guard.
3. Tap Turn on.

You can turn it on without confirming it's you, but turning it off needs your fingerprint, face or screen lock, so someone with your phone can't quietly switch it off.

Good to know

• Screen guard protects your own phone's screen. It can't stop someone else taking a screenshot on their device, or photographing their screen with another camera.
• Zaplog can notice when someone screenshots or records a chat on Android or iPhone, and may tell the other person. Treat that as a courtesy, not a guarantee.
