Format your notes
Headings, bold, italic, colors, lists, checklists, dividers and tables in ZapNotes.

Use the toolbar above the keyboard while you write.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Text styles | Three sizes of heading, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, code and quote. |
| Text colour | Color the selected text. |
| Bulleted list and Numbered list | Start a list. |
| Checklist | Add tick boxes, for to-do lists and shopping. |
| Clear formatting | Remove styles from the selected text. |
Checklists
Tap a box to tick it. From the note's menu, Move ticked to bottom keeps what's left at the top, and Untick everything resets the list.
Tags
Type a hashtag such as #recipes anywhere in a note to tag it. Search for the tag to find every note that uses it.
Dividers and tables
- Type
---on its own line for a divider. - Rows written with pipes, like
| Item | Price |, show as a table.
Links you type are underlined, and open when you tap them.
Undo
Use undo and redo in the toolbar. Undo covers your words; adding or removing a photo, drawing or recording isn't part of the undo history.
