Warnings, suspensions and restrictions
What it means when Zaplog warns you, suspends Chats or ZapRooms, or suspends your account.
When Zaplog's Trust & Safety team acts on your account, you'll see a notice explaining what happened, which rule was broken, the consequence, how long it lasts, and how to appeal.
Kinds of notice
| Notice | What it means |
|---|---|
| A message from Zaplog | Information about your account. |
| A warning from Zaplog | A formal, recorded warning. |
| Final warning | The next violation will lead to a suspension or termination. |
| Chats suspended | You can't use Chats or Stories. ZapRooms and the rest of Zaplog still work. |
| ZapRooms suspended | You can't use ZapRooms. Chats, Stories and the rest of Zaplog still work. |
| Account suspended | You can't use Zaplog. |
A suspension shows when it lifts (This suspension lifts on a date), or that This suspension is permanent.
Restrictions inside a room
A room's moderators can mute you, time you out or ban you from that room. That doesn't affect your Zaplog account or other rooms. See Appeal a removal or restriction in ZapRooms.
What you can do
Tap Appeal this decision on the notice, or see Appeal a decision.
