Zaplog on Android
Android-specific features, text messages to people who aren't on Zaplog, and the default SMS app.
On this page
Zaplog on Android includes everything in Zaplog, plus:
- Notification channels: separate vibration, light and priority for messages, groups and calls. See Notification settings.
- Widgets for Notes, Organized and ZapFit. See Home screen widgets.
- Code autofill: Android can give Zaplog the one text message carrying your sign-in code.
- Health Connect for ZapFit.
Text messages (SMS)
Zaplog doesn't send or read text messages (SMS or MMS), and can't be set as your default SMS app. If you message someone who isn't on Zaplog, your phone's own messaging app opens.
If you previously made Zaplog your default SMS app, your texts are still in Android's own message store. Choose another messaging app in your phone's Settings > Apps > Default apps > SMS app if your phone hasn't already.
