Voice mode

Voice mode lets you talk with Zaplog and hear it answer. It listens, searches the web when it needs to, and answers out loud.

Start voice mode

1. Open the Zaplog tab.
2. With the message box empty, tap the Voice button.
3. Allow microphone access if asked.
4. Speak. The orb shows when Zaplog is Listening, Thinking and Speaking.

Controls

• Mute / Unmute your microphone.
• Hold to talk: hold the orb while you talk, then let go.
• Keyboard: switch to typing.
• Choose a Male or Female voice.
• End to finish.

The conversation's transcript is saved in the chat.

Privacy

When the live connection is available, your voice is streamed to Zaplog's voice service to be turned into text, and answers are spoken back by that service. Otherwise your phone recognizes your speech, and only the answer's text is sent to be spoken.
