Free up space on your phone

If your phone is running out of space, ZapCloud can remove photos and videos from your phone that are already backed up.

1. Open Cloud > Photos, then Photo settings.
2. Tap Free up space on this device (Remove photos from the phone that are already in ZapCloud).
3. ZapCloud checks the phone against ZapCloud, then shows how many items are already in ZapCloud and how much space removing them saves.
4. Tap Free up the amount, then confirm when your phone asks.

Only the phone's copies are removed. Your ZapCloud copies stay, and your phone asks before anything is deleted.

If a photo was backed up once but can't be found in ZapCloud now, it's kept on the phone. If there's Nothing to free up, every backed-up photo is already off the phone, or nothing has been backed up yet.
