Video length and quality

  • A story video can be up to 1 minute 30 seconds. A longer video opens with its first 1:30 selected, and you can move the selection.
  • Story videos are published at 720p, which looks sharp on a phone and loads quickly for your viewers.

Who can see it

Your story is shown to the audience in Settings > Privacy > Story audience: all your contacts and friends, all except some people, or only people you pick. You can change the audience for the story you're about to post. See Who can see your stories.
